Ganeshism: a celebration of Lord Ganesh in art
Mahen Chanmugam has been painting for over thirty five years, and has devoted the last twelve to portraying Lord Ganesh. His art attempts to present the complex symbolism and iconography surrounding Lord Ganesh in a colourful, contemporary form.

Learning to sew is never easy, learning to sew in a village that discriminates against women without husbands is even harder. Without this work, these women have no hope of a livelihood to care for their children and may lose them to sate orphanages
